The primary mission of the Young Professionals is to support the Tucson Urban League and its programs. Secondly, we serve as a vehicle for young professionals between the ages of 21 and 40 to get involved in a variety of professional and youth development programs such as: educational, fundraising, and networking events, as well as participate in a broad range of community service activities.





TULYP Mission Statement:
TULYP will mobilize young professionals and promote community awareness by conducting community service and professional development activities that assist the TUL in achieving its mission of social and economic equality.

TULYP Vision Statement:
To become the premier local network of young professionals who are qualified to provide community leadership in the areas of economic development; education and youth development; civic engagement; health and quality of life; and civil rights and racial justice.

Within the first three years of the organization’s development, TULYP will seek to build its membership base; establish sustainable partnerships with local businesses and organizations to support TULYP activities; develop concise and informative marketing materials; and conduct activities that support the agenda of the Tucson Urban League and also raise revenue for the chapter and the affiliate.
