Preventative Health Services

Preventative Health Services

Preventative health services are an essential component of the Seniors’ Breakfast and Lunch Program. Each week, a health service is provided to participating seniors from 10 A.M. to 11:30 A.M. The program collaborates with the Pima County Health Department to provide blood pressure and diabetic monitoring, immunizations, and more. Medical staff of St. Elizabeth of Hungary provides a foot podiatry clinic, exercise classes, nutrition workshops and assistance with medication adjustments. Pima Council on Aging and City of Tucson Parks and Recreation provides additional on-site wellness workshops, health fairs and on-site blood pressure testing.
