Featuring "Conversation of Race" with NBA Giants Wayne Embry and Oscar Robertson
5:30pm - Cocktail Reception & Registration
6:30pm – Dinner & Panel Discussion

For over 50 years Urban League affiliates across the country have presented EOD events to remind our communities that the greatness of our country rests on the principle of equal opportunity for everyone.
To commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, this year’s Equal Opportunity Day Awards Dinner program includes a “Conversation on Race”. The discussion will feature two legendary Basketball Hall of Fame and retired National Basketball Association (NBA) giants, Wayne Embry and Oscar Robertson, who will discuss the impact that the Civil Rights Movement had on their careers and lives. The conversation will be moderated by Tucson local legend, Robert “Bob” Elliott.

Proceeds from the dinner will help enable the Tucson Urban League to serve 15,000 people annually.
